My first biotronican character. Done in Maya.
Biotronicans are a class of biomechanical lifeforms from a robotic dimension. A biotronican can be composed of any number of individual biotronican components and can be inhabited by smaller conglomerate biotronicans.
The idea is you can get inside of these gigantic biomechanical creatures and learn how to operate them. Every biotronican is like a living factory. It takes skill and cooperation to successfully operate a biotronican. They are a part of a large ecosystem of biomechanical organisms that can resemble anything from insects to amusement park rides to vending machines to humans etc.
I've been building all the models in MasterpieceVR and texturing in 3d-Coat.
